Hey there! I’m Jamilah Lawry, and let me tell you—my journey has been anything but ordinary.
I kicked off My Biz Consulting in 2010, right in the vibrant heart of Philly, fueled by chaos and my years of working with Fortune 500 companies and an unshakeable determination to create something of my own. It wasn’t all smooth sailing though.
Life threw some curveballs—big health challenges, raising two incredible daughters as a single mom—and I decided it was time to take all that corporate know-how and build a business that worked for me and my family.
Let’s be real. Starting my own consulting firm wasn’t just about dreams; it was about survival, freedom, and creating a legacy. My Biz Consulting became my lifeline—a space where my professional grit and personal drive could come together to help businesses grow, streamline, and thrive.
And then the pandemic hit. While the world was binge-watching Netflix and baking sourdough, I was out here pivoting like a pro! In 2019 on the brink of the pandemic I launched my Virtual Mailbox business as a creative and totally passive add-on to my portfolio. (Listen, when the world’s locked down and mail keeps coming, someone has to handle it, right?) What started as a quick idea to meet the moment has turned into a steady, recession-proof income stream—proof that a little hustle and some quick thinking can turn chaos into opportunity.
Fast forward to now, I’ve expanded My Biz Consulting with my Hustle & Hack Method—a game-changing approach that helps businesses clean up their operations, embrace the right tech, and master online marketing. It’s designed for real people with real businesses, and guess what? I even sprinkle in no-cost fintech solutions to remove those pesky financial roadblocks. Because everyone deserves access to tools that make their business soar.

Since 2006, this hip hop station has been amplifying Philly voices and vibes, giving artists, entrepreneurs, and local businesses a platform to shine. It’s not just radio—it’s a movement.
